To The Bar Training Terms of Use

Terms for using To The Bar Training as an athlete, coach, club owner, administrator or member.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms apply to the To The Bar Training app and related account services operated by To The Bar Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Fitness service, not medical advice

To The Bar is a planning, communication and training-log service. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency assistance. Training carries risk. Use appropriate judgement, equipment and supervision and consult a qualified professional where necessary.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.

You may sign in with email credentials or an available third-party identity service such as Sign in with Apple. The third party’s terms also apply to its service.

3. Athletes, coaches and clubs

A coach or club relationship does not make To The Bar responsible for the qualifications, conduct, programming or advice of that coach or club. Athletes should confirm who can see their information and use result-sharing controls appropriately.

Club owners and administrators are responsible for assigning suitable roles, permissions and licences, maintaining accurate memberships and using member information only for legitimate club purposes. Staff must not access information outside their authorised responsibilities.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you create, subject to rights belonging to others. You grant To The Bar the limited permission needed to host, process, display and synchronise that content to operate the features you select. You must have the right to upload or share names, images, exercises, descriptions, videos, messages and imported records.

Do not upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive or infringing content, misuse messaging, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the service.

5. Exercise and benchmark information

Descriptions, demonstrations, benchmark workouts and suggested targets are general information. Check technique, equipment, scaling and suitability for the individual. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners; inclusion does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

6. Apple Health

Health access is optional. Imported or estimated calorie information may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be used for diagnosis or clinical decisions. You control Health permissions through Apple Health and iOS Settings.

7. Paid services, subscriptions and licences

Prices, renewal terms, trial terms and included features are shown before purchase. App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple and are also subject to Apple’s terms. Club licences may be assigned independently from staff roles. Except where law requires otherwise, entitlement continues only while the relevant purchase or subscription remains valid.

8. Availability, offline use and synchronisation

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some logging works offline; features needing current shared data require a connection. Do not rely on the app as the only copy of information needed for safety-critical or regulated purposes.

9. Intellectual property

The app, website, branding, software and original To The Bar content are owned by or licensed to To The Bar Ltd. You may use them only as permitted by the service. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or create an unauthorised competing database from protected content except where applicable law expressly permits it.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or address a serious breach. Where practical, we will explain the reason and available next steps.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, To The Bar is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, independent coaching decisions, user-generated content, or loss caused by using the service contrary to instructions.

12. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated where required. Continuing to use the service after an effective change means the revised terms apply.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
