To The Bar

Media Usage Policy

Usage, licensing and download terms for To The Bar digital media, galleries and purchased images.

Last updated: 22 August 2026

This page explains how images and other digital media supplied by To The Bar may be used. It applies to purchased downloads, free downloads, preview galleries and media supplied through client galleries unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Copyright ownership

Copyright remains with To The Bar Ltd or the relevant rights holder. Buying or downloading an image gives you permission to use that media under the licence described here; it does not transfer copyright ownership.

Personal, athlete and team use

Purchased images may be used for personal, athlete, coach or team use, including social media posts, profile images, personal promotion, non-commercial websites and private printing.

Credit

Where practical, please credit To The Bar when posting media publicly. Cropping for social platforms is fine, but please do not remove visible copyright notices or misrepresent the work as someone else’s.

Commercial and brand use

Commercial use by brands, sponsors, publications, event organisers, advertisers or businesses may require a separate licence. This includes advertising, paid campaigns, product promotion, merchandise, press, sponsorship decks and wider brand marketing.

If you need commercial usage, contact info@to-thebar.com so the correct licence can be agreed.

What is not allowed

  • Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing downloaded media.
  • Sharing protected download links publicly or with people outside the order.
  • Using preview or watermarked images as final published media.
  • Using media in a misleading, defamatory or unlawful way.
  • Using media for brand, sponsor, publication or advertising purposes without the right licence.

Free downloads

Some collections may include free downloads. Free download does not mean copyright-free. The same copyright and usage rules apply unless a collection states otherwise.

Download links and access

Download links are provided for the buyer or intended recipient and may have access limits. If a link expires or fails, contact us with the order details and we will help.

Refunds and technical issues

Digital downloads are normally non-refundable once delivered, unless there is a technical issue, duplicate purchase, incorrect file or other problem we need to resolve. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number.
