To The Bar Training Privacy Policy

Privacy policy for the To The Bar Training iOS app, covering account data, workout data, sync, coaching and account deletion.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the To The Bar Training app, a fitness planning and workout logging tool for athletes, coaches and clubs.

Information the app collects and stores

The app collects and stores your name, email address and account identifier so that you can create an account, sign in and sync your training data.

The app stores workout and training information you create or import, including workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, times, distances, personal bests, session comments, gym profiles and equipment availability.

The app may also store coach relationships, club memberships, program assignments and other content you create inside the app.

Subscriptions and payments

Future paid services may process subscription status and Apple transaction identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Apple and are not stored by To The Bar.

Supabase and cloud sync

Supabase provides authentication, database and cloud-sync infrastructure for the app. Your data is used to provide account access, offline and cloud synchronisation, workout planning, progress tracking, coaching and club functionality.

Workout data is also stored locally on your device so the app can work offline. When you reconnect, the app may sync local changes with the cloud service.

Coaches, clubs and sharing

Training information is shared with coaches or clubs only when you join, create or accept the relevant relationship in the app. For example, joining a club or accepting a coach connection may allow that coach or club to view relevant training information needed to support programming and coaching.

Imports, links and notifications

TrainHeroic CSV imports are processed to import workout history and personal bests into your account.

YouTube links may open YouTube externally. When you use YouTube, YouTube’s own privacy terms and settings apply.

Timer notifications are generated through Apple’s notification system on your device.

How data is used

Your data is used to provide authentication, app functionality, offline and cloud synchronisation, workout planning, progress tracking, coaching features, club features, support and account administration.

The app does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for advertising tracking.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete individual training sessions inside the app. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Account > Delete account.

When you delete your account, the app removes the login and associated app data such as workouts, personal bests, gym profiles, coaching relationships, club memberships and content owned by your account, subject to any limited records we may need to retain for security, legal, dispute or operational reasons.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect account and training data, including authenticated access and cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your device secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain uses of your personal data. You can correct much of your information in the app, delete sessions individually, or delete your account from Account > Delete account.
