A familiar path at every level
Use the features you need now. Keep the same workflow as you progress.
As an athlete
Plan and log your own training.
Create sessions, follow blocks, record every set, track PBs, use benchmarks and control who can see a completed result.
Read the athlete guide → 02As a coach
Program once. Support individuals and groups.
Build sessions and multi-week plans, assign without duplicates, review shared results and notes, and keep conversations beside the training.
Read the coach guide → 03As a club
Run programming, people and classes together.
Create club activities, manage roles and licences, organise teams, publish repeatable classes and review shared leaderboards.
Read the club guide →From idea to completed workout
A clear workflow, whether it is one session or twelve weeks.
- 1Create
Start quickly from the plus button, use assisted planning or open Blocks for detailed programming.
- 2Assign
Keep it personal, send it to clients, choose a group, or publish for a club team or class.
- 3Log
Record successful, missed and not-logged sets with streamlined superset pages and persistent timing.
- 4Review
Confirm duration and calories, save notes, choose result visibility and follow progress over time.
Designed around real training
Less admin between the plan and the result.
To The Bar combines the tools that normally become separate spreadsheets, messages, timers, exercise notes and booking lists.
Search-first exercise library
Find exercises by name, open descriptions and videos, control optional library packs, create personal exercises and insert structured benchmark workouts.
Drafts and Blocks
Save an unfinished session from the ellipsis, return through Drafts, build multi-week progression and amend an already posted recipient session.
Useful workout status
Successful lifts are green, missed attempts red and unlogged sets grey. Bodyweight work and a new exercise can establish PBs from the first result.
Apple Health choices
Use a matching tracker workout when one exists, or estimate active calories and optionally save that estimate when no tracker workout exists.
Offline-first logging
Keep recording during a weak connection. Local changes update the screen immediately and synchronise when the connection returns.
Sharing with boundaries
Keep completed results private, share with a coach, or include an authorised club. Health-derived calorie values remain private.
